DJI originally introduced the Relay concept to reduce lag and signal loss risk in challenging agricultural environments. For AGRAS operations where every pass matters, the O4 Relay acts as a midpoint between the remote controller and the aircraft, helping maintain a reliable connection across larger blocks and more complex terrain.
